Who we are?
Servicing our community is just “what we do.” We do it with ease, pride, and passion. We believe in moving in a genuine manner, because we have nothing to gain from what we do. We just launched our non-profit organization, The Resource Guru in September 2025.
A large part of our team consists of our Kid Crew. Our Kid Crew consists of 11 youth, who assist us with all service projects. Our Kid Crew was founded in September 2021. Our Kid Crew is considered a “tight knit family.” A special shout out to our PHENOMENAL Kid Crew Parents to allow their children to be a huge part of our journey!
Our team is filled with experts with an array of knowledge from diverse career fields. We are committed to utilizing the knowledge and experiences gained throughout the years to consistently service our community.
Meet the Founder:
Alyssia is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional.
Alyssia’s Social Work experience involves working directly within entities such as the psychiatric hospital, inner-city communities, schools, and Juvenile Detention.
Alyssia’s passion consists of providing quality and consistent resources to individuals’ and families who are considered vulnerable and in need, in order to increase their ability to function in a more positive manner.
Alyssia earned her Bachelor of Social Work degree from Radford University in 2016, and from there she went on to attend Virginia Commonwealth University, where she earned her Master of Social Work degree in 2018.
